CLINICAL BACKGROUND IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE

This is a highly specialised Product Leadership search.

We are specifically seeking Product Directors and Senior Product Leaders who have transitioned from clinical practice into Product Management.

To be considered, you must have a background as one of the following:

Pharmacist

Clinical Pharmacist

Prescribing Pharmacist

Doctor

Physician

GP

Clinician

And have subsequently built a successful career leading digital products within healthcare technology, medication management, clinical systems or regulated healthcare environments.

Candidates without a clinical background are unlikely to be suitable for this position.

The Role

As Product Director, you will:

Own product vision, strategy and roadmap across a portfolio of healthcare products

Lead Product Managers, Product Leads and senior product professionals

Drive innovation across medication management and clinical workflow products

Partner closely with Clinical, Regulatory, Engineering, Design and Commercial stakeholders

Lead product discovery, market analysis and strategic planning

Balance patient safety, compliance and commercial objectives

Develop scalable product operating models and product frameworks

Act as the voice of Product both internally and externally

Drive measurable customer, clinical and commercial outcomes

Core Domain Expertise Required

We are specifically looking for experience within one or more of the following:

eMAR (Electronic Medication Administration Record)

Medication Management Platforms

Medicines Optimisation

Digital Prescribing

Clinical Systems

Care Management Platforms

Healthcare SaaS

Electronic Patient Records (EPR)

Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Clinical Decision Support Systems

Community Healthcare Platforms

Primary Care Technology

Pharmacy Technology

Healthcare Data Platforms

Regulated Healthcare Technology

Experience working within NHS environments, integrated care systems, social care technology, pharmacy technology or clinical software providers is highly desirable.

Senior Product Leadership

12+ years' experience within Product Management.

You will currently be operating as:

VP Product

Chief Product Officer

Or an exceptional senior Product Leader ready for their next challenge.

Experience leading Product Managers, Product Leads and cross-functional product organisations is essential.

Commercial Product Leadership

We are looking for someone who understands how great healthcare products create measurable business and customer outcomes.

You will have experience delivering:

Experience operating within a technical and commercial product model is essential.
