HGV Driver - Philip Russell Ltd

Purpose The key purpose of the role of Driver is to deliver goods to customers of Philip Russell Ltd in an efficient and courteous manner, checking all goods onto the premises and ensuring the completion of all paperwork.

Responsibilities To ensure deliveries are made as per the journey planner To ensue Health & Safety of the vehicle including checks and careful driving/unloading etc To ensure the helper carries out their role effectively especially in relation to banksman duties To ensure the accurate reporting of stock To ensure the safe loading/unloading of deliveries To ensure good customer service on Client's sites Any other duties relevant and related to the post Qualifications Desirable Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills Skills and Experience Essential 6 monthsof driving experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Must be able to work in a quick and efficient manner Clean License Desirable Fork Lift License Main Points of Contact Supervisors Warehouse Manager Other store personnel Forklift / counterbalance drivers Other Relevant Information Hours of work 40 hours per week.

Overtime will be required when the workload demands.
