Highway Engineer | London | £40,000 - £50,000 Are you a Highway Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people? Currently working with a well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy that's continuing to expand its London Civil Infrastructure team following a number of major project wins. They're looking to recruit a Highway Engineer with around 3+ years' UK experience who's keen to broaden their technical expertise, work on high-profile projects and progress towards Senior Engineer. The Opportunity You'll become part of a collaborative team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across London and the UK, including: Highway and junction improvement schemes. Active travel and public realm projects. Development infrastructure. Section 278 & Section 38 highway design. Drainage coordination and infrastructure design. Projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support. Close collaboration with local authorities, developers and multidisciplinary design teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on technically whilst gaining exposure to larger, more complex projects alongside experienced Senior and Principal Engineers. About You You'll ideally have: Around 3+ years' UK experience in highways or civil infrastructure design. Experience producing highway designs using AutoCAD, with Civil 3D experience advantageous. Knowledge of Section 278, Section 38, DMRB, Manual for Streets and UK highway design standards. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
