About the role
Director, LG Capital – Structured Finance & Securitisation (London)
We’re looking for a Director to drive growth in LBSF’s receivables products, including securitisation, factoring and other receivables‑based deals. The role is project‑based, encompassing origination, structuring, execution and strategy within the UK.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UK Receivables team and manage a defined portfolio of existing clients, driving reviews, revenue growth and escalation of complex client issues.
- Originate, structure and execute end‑to‑end receivables‑based solutions such as securitisations, portfolio receivables monetisation, contract monetisation and other finance programmes.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities internally and externally, leading the sale process and providing technical product expertise in client pitches.
- Collaborate with key funding partners to design tailored solutions, delivering insights on client requirements and available funding sources.
- Project‑manage deal execution across operational, documentation and financing workstreams, acting as the primary contact for clients, banks, asset managers, law firms and service providers.
- Represent LBSF at industry events, conferences and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate deal flow.
Qualifications
- Degree level education or equivalent experience in Structured Finance, securitisation, capital markets or a related discipline.
- Proven track record in structured finance with demonstrable origination experience and ability to source, structure and execute receivables‑based transactions.
- Strong experience across asset classes such as trade receivables, long‑term contract receivables and consumer assets.
- Deep knowledge of receivables as collateral, credit insurance, typical market structures, working capital solutions and the lender/ investor landscape.
- Commercial mindset with evidence of an entrepreneurial approach; prior entrepreneurial experience is advantageous.
- Leadership experience managing teams, coaching and talent development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable operating in international environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel; additional data analytics or coding skills are desirable.
