Job Title: Food Technology Teacher Location: Rainhill High School Employer: The Supply Register Contract Type: Temporary Start Date: To be confirmed About the Role: Rainhill High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire students to develop essential culinary skills, nutritional knowledge, and a love for food preparation. Working via The Supply Register, you will benefit from professional support while gaining valuable experience in a well-established secondary school environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Prepare students for practical assessments and coursework Maintain a safe and organised kitchen/classroom environment in line with health and safety standards Monitor, assess and report on student progress Contribute positively to the wider school community The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level Strong classroom management skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Join This Role?
