The Successful CNC Miller – Setter, Operator, Programmer – Package * £24.87 per hour * Night Shift – Monday to Thursday (8:45pm – 7:00am) * Permanent position * Long-term job security * Career development opportunities * Free on-site parking * Modern precision machining environment * Comprehensive health & safety procedures The Successful CNC Miller – Setter, Operator, Programmer – Role * Program, set and operate CNC Milling Machines * Produce precision-machined aerospace components to engineering drawings and customer specifications * Create, edit and optimise CNC programs * Set tooling, fixtures and workholding for a variety of machining operations * Maximise material utilisation while minimising waste * Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection * Complete production and quality documentation accurately * Maintain high machining standards and tight tolerances * Support continuous improvement activities * Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment * Assist with training and supporting other operators where required The Successful CNC Miller – Setter, Operator, Programmer – Requirements * Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC Milling Machines * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience producing precision-machined components to tight tolerances * Confident editing and proving CNC programs * Good understanding of tooling, fixtures and machining processes * Experience carrying out quality checks and completing production documentation * Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures, including COSHH * Computer literate * Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail If you're an experienced CNC Miller – Setter, Operator, Programmer looking for a secure night shift position with a leading aerospace manufacturer, we'd love to hear from you
