We are recruiting for a skilled Fibreglasser to join a specialist manufacturing team producing high quality commercial vehicle conversions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced GRP Finisher, GRP Laminator, or Composite Technician to work on bespoke vehicle builds within a modern workshop environment. If you have experience working with fibreglass, GRP laminating, or composite materials and take pride in producing high quality finishes, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Prepare commercial vehicles for fibreglass laminating using grinders and sanding equipment Cut fibreglass matting and prepare materials for installation Mix resins and carry out wet lay GRP laminating to vehicle interiors Apply fibreglass to commercial vehicles to a high quality finish Inspect completed work to ensure excellent standards of quality Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Work efficiently as part of a manufacturing team Follow company quality and health and safety procedures at all times Skills and Experience Essential Previous experience as a Fibreglasser, GRP Finisher, GRP Laminator, or Composite Technician Experience with wet lay fibreglass and resin application Good understanding of manufacturing or production processes Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship Desirable Experience within vehicle conversions, coachbuilding, or commercial vehicle manufacturing Experience working with commercial vans or specialist vehicle builds If you're an experienced Fibreglasser, GRP Finisher, GRP Laminator, or Composite Technician looking for a long term opportunity in Trafford Park with career progression and a stable Monday to Friday working pattern, we'd love to hear from you.
