Procurement Specialist (Business Case Delivery) 📍 London (Hybrid Working) 💷 £481.82 per day Umbrella 📅 Contract Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Specialist to support a major transformation programme within a London local authority. This role will focus on delivering procurement-led business cases, driving savings across third-party spend, and embedding best practice in procurement and contract management. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to implement category strategies, negotiate with suppliers, manage risks, and ensure agreed financial and operational benefits are achieved. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver approved business cases and procurement savings initiatives. * Lead supplier negotiations and contract performance improvements. * Develop and implement category strategies. * Manage delivery plans, risks, governance, and benefits realisation. * Work closely with finance, service leads, and senior stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and public sector procurement requirements. Requirements: * Significant public sector procurement and commercial experience. * Proven track record of delivering cost savings and transformation programmes. * Strong supplier management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Knowledge of category management and procurement governance frameworks.
