Quantity Surveyor - COINS Experience

Quantity Surveyor Location: Near Nantwich, Cheshire (SY13 4AL) Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance Benefits: 33 Days Holiday, Occasional Hybrid Working About the Role We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing residential development business based near Nantwich, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic commercial team, supporting the delivery of high-quality residential developments from our head office. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of projects, working closely with procurement, site teams, subcontractors, and the sales department to ensure projects remain commercially successful. Key Responsibilities * Procurement of construction materials and suppliers. * Carry out subcontractor valuations and payment assessments. * Assist with monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reporting. * Monitor project costs and support commercial reporting. * Liaise with the sales team to manage and track customer extras and variations. * Assist in subcontract procurement and commercial administration. * Support cost control throughout the lifecycle of developments. * Work closely with project and site management teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved. Candidate Requirements * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the residential construction or housebuilding sector. * Proficient in COINS and Bluebeam software. * Strong understanding of subcontractor management and valuations. * Experience producing or assisting with CVR reports. * Excellent commercial awareness and cost management skills. * Strong communication and organisational abilities. * Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
