HGV Class 1 Driver Tyre Collector

We have a HGV 1 driving vacancy available. (C+E) The work involves driving A HGV Class 1 vehicle articulated lorry which consists of a tractor unit and a semi-trailer. The job will involve heavy lifting as the main role will be collecting Truck tyres and loading them into a box trailer using a tyre lifter.

We are looking for a reliable person who has good driving skills, able to work without supervision and do what is required to get the work done in an efficient and correct manner.

Good communication skills would be beneficial.

The appropriate license needs to be held for all vehicle types, together with a record of completed CPC Training Modules and Digi card

The vacancy is a 40 hour / 5 day week with the opportunity of overtime as required. The job involves work around the UK but is based at Weaverthorpe, North Yorkshire.

Overtime rate is 1.5 X (after 48 hours)

Overnight rate £35

Some of the UK routes involve working away overnight
Total flexibility with the working hours is required. Salary will be advised on application.
