Part-Time Music Teacher – September Start Near Maldon, Essex | 2 Days Per Week | QTS Preferred Inspire the next generation through music. Local Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive school near Maldon for a passionate Music Teacher to join their team from September on a part-time basis (2 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Music Teacher or an ECT looking for a flexible teaching role within a school that values creativity, enrichment and high-quality music education. You'll be delivering engaging Music lessons, encouraging students to develop confidence, creativity and a lifelong appreciation of music. The Role * Part-time position – 2 days per week * September 2026 start * Near Maldon, Essex * Teaching Music across Key Stages (experience across KS3/KS4 desirable) * Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons * Working within a supportive and collaborative department * Ongoing role with potential to continue beyond the initial placement We Are Looking For * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent * Experience teaching Music within UK secondary schools * Strong classroom management skills * Passion for inspiring young people through music * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Join Local Education?
