Mobile HGV Technician Location: Tuxford Salary: £58,500 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm Start and finish times may be slightly flexible depending on business requirements. About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Mobile HGV Technician to join the team based in Tuxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified level 3 HGV Technician to work in a varied mobile role, travelling to various company sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and inspections on Trucks and Trailers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard, responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs to keep vehicles safe, reliable and operational. Key Responsibilities Travelling to various company sites to carry out vehicle maintenance and repairs Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on HGVs Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Attending vehicle breakdowns and providing roadside assistance Carrying out inspections and identifying any maintenance requirements Preparing vehicles for MOT testing Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Maintaining accurate records of work completed Supporting the wider transport and maintenance operation as required What We're Looking For Level 3 qualified HGV Mechanic Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, preferably in a mobile or field-based role Strong knowledge of HGV servicing, maintenance and repairs Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload Strong commitment to health and safety Full UK driving licence A flexible and reliable approach to work What We Offer £58,500 per annum Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm Some flexibility around start and finish times Overtime available, paid at time and a quarter Company pension Company sick pay scheme Life Assurance Varied mobile role with travel to different company sites Opportunity to join a supportive and established team How to Apply If you are an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity with a competitive salary, excellent benefits and the opportunity to work in a varied mobile role, we would love to hear from you.
