Project Site Electrician - BESS Project 📍 Location: Leeds 📅 Start: Immediate 📄 Contract: Ongoing ⏰ Hours: 45/50 hours per week 💷 Rate: £32.00 per hour The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Site Electrician to join a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major energy infrastructure scheme, supporting the installation and commissioning of electrical systems within a fast-growing sector. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installation works in accordance with project specifications and industry standards Install containment, cabling, switchgear, and associated electrical equipment Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures Support testing and commissioning activities where required Work closely with site management and project teams to maintain programme delivery Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship Requirements Relevant electrical trade qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ECS/JIB Card or equivalent) Previous experience working as a Site Electrician on construction or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and health & safety requirements Ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable Previous experience working on BESS, renewable energy, substations, or similar energy infrastructure projects Testing and inspection qualifications What's on Offer £32.00 per hour 45/50 hours per week Long-term opportunity on a major BESS project Opportunity to gain valuable experience within the renewable energy sector
