Design & Technology / Food Technology Teacher North London Secondary School Start Date: September 2026 Full-Time | Permanent Inspire Creativity, Innovation and Practical Skills We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Design & Technology and Food Technology Teacher to join our successful secondary school in North London from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 for a suitably qualified candidate. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that develop students' creativity, technical skills, problem-solving abilities and understanding of nutrition, food preparation and healthy living. About the Role You will: Teach Design & Technology and Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4. Plan and deliver challenging, engaging and differentiated lessons. Foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment. Support students in developing practical, technical and analytical skills. Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities. Monitor, assess and report on student progress effectively. Work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking department. We Are Looking For Someone Who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has experience teaching Design & Technology and/or Food Technology in a secondary school setting. Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical learning. Has excellent classroom management and communication skills. Is committed to raising achievement and supporting student wellbeing. Can contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
