Structural / Civil Engineer

Our client is seeking a Structural / Civil Engineer to join their established Civil & Structural Engineering team based in Darlington.   The successful candidate will support the delivery of engineering projects from feasibility and FEED studies through to detailed design, providing structural and civil engineering expertise across a range of industrial and infrastructure developments.   Key Responsibilities Design and analysis of reinforced concrete and steel structures Preparation of engineering calculations, reports and specifications Production and review of technical documentation Support feasibility studies, FEED and detailed design activities Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary engineering teams Assist with material take-offs, cost estimates and project planning Provide technical support during project execution and site activities   Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Experience within a civil and/or structural engineering design role Experience with reinforced concrete and structural steel design Ability to produce engineering calculations and technical reports Strong communication and problem-solving skills   Desirable Experience Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical, energy or infrastructure projects STAAD.Pro or similar structural analysis software Foundation design and geotechnical interpretation Working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status   This opportunity offers exposure to high-profile engineering projects, ongoing professional development and long-term career progression within a technically challenging environment
