Remote Grab Driver – Waltham Abbey Location: Waltham Abbey, Essex Role: Remote Grab Driver (Operating Grab Lorry via Remote Control)  Start: Immediate About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Remote Grab Driver to join our team in Waltham Abbey. You’ll be operating a grab lorry using remote-control equipment to load, move and clear materials safely and efficiently across local sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independent work, takes pride in safe operation, and can deliver a reliable, professional service. Key Responsibilities Operating grab equipment to load and move materials Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks Working safely around active sites and public areas Communicating with site managers and customers Maintaining accurate job records and paperworkRequirements Valid HGV Class 2 licence Experience operating a remote grab (Clamshell or similar) Up‑to‑date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Strong awareness of health & safety Reliable, punctual and able to work independently Good communication skillsWhat We Offer Competitive day rate Regular local work around Waltham Abbey and surrounding areas Well-maintained vehicles and equipment Supportive operations team Long‑term opportunities for the right driver
