Senior Ecologist – Birmingham Job tile: Ecologist Location: Birmingham Duration: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Remote & hybrid working options available (if based in West Midlands) Company I am pleased to be representing a medium sized, ecological consultancy based in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint an Ecologist into their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ecologist to deliver high-quality ecological services, whilst working alongside other experienced and enthusiastic professionals. This company promotes career progression and works closely with their staff to understand their career goals and structures a plan to achieve them. What you will need: * At least 4 years’ ecological consultancy experience * Relevant degree * CIEEM membership * Full UK driving licence * Experience in GIS and data analysis tools * Working towards GCN or Bat license What you will be doing: * Conducting ecological surveys, including protected species surveys, habitat assessments, and biodiversity audits. * Undertaking environmental impact assessments * Mentoring junior staff members * Contributing/preparing ecological reports * Client liaison * Providing expert ecological advice What you will be offered: * Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (dependant on experience) * Flexible & hybrid working options * CIEEM membership * Established TOIL system * Private medical insurance * 31 days annual leave, plus your birthday * External and internal training tailored around you * Fully flexible parental leave options * Company pension * Cycle to work scheme If interested, please do get in touch with Beth Steeds, at Henry Gunn
