Job title: Graduate Engineering Geologist Location: Glasgow, Scotland Job type: Full time, permanent Are you a recent Graduate with a passion for geology, geotechnics and ground investigation? I am on the lookout for a motivated Graduate Engineering Geologist, to join a growing Glasgow team and help deliver a wide range of exciting infrastructure, environmental and development projects across the central belt of Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your technical skills, and work alongside experienced Engineering Geologist in a supportive and collaborative environment. What's on Offer * Starting salary between £26,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) * Paid Mileage * 33 days holiday * Payment of professional membership * Cycle to work scheme * Simply Health cash plan (including counselling services) * Home & tech scheme * Work from alternative location (1 week per year UK or EU) * Enhanced maternity & paternity leave etc * 1 charitable works day off per year Key Responsibilities: * Assisting with ground investigations on a variety of civil engineering and constructions projects * Logging soil and rock to current industry standards * Supervising drilling rigs and trial pit investigations * Collecting soil, rocks and groundwater samples * Carrying out in-situ testing & monitoring * Preparing factual ground investigations reports * Supporting geotechnical analysis and interpretation of site data * Working closely with project managers, engineers and environmental specialists. * Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures What You'll Need: * A relevant degree – Geology, Earth Sciences, Geoscience etc. * A genuine interested in ground investigation and engineering geology * Strong communication and organisational skills * A positive attitude and willingness to learn * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Full driving license If interested, please get in touch with Beth Steeds, at Henry Gunn ((phone number removed))
