Learning Support Assistant (Post‑16 Provision) Start Date : September 2026 Salary: £(Apply online only) per annum – term time only This South London high‑performing 6th Form College is looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support learners with additional needs as they prepare for exams, apprenticeships and higher education. You will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, develop independence and achieve strong outcomes across their chosen pathways. Key Duties * Support students with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia and SEMH * Provide academic support in lessons and supervised study * Help students plan, organise and manage coursework deadlines * Deliver targeted interventions (literacy, numeracy, study skills) * Work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt resources * Encourage resilience, confidence and positive routines Person Specification * Experience supporting SEN learners aged 14–19 * Professional, reliable and able to model positive behaviour * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Ability to motivate and build trust with young adults This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a crucial stage in students’ education
