Assistant Design Engineer - Civil/Structural Location: Epsom (Hybrid Working) Are you an early-career Civil/Structural Engineer looking to develop your technical capability within the growing UK energy and infrastructure sector? Would you like exposure to technically varied design & build projects across substations, battery energy storage, enabling works and wider infrastructure civils? Turner Lovell is recruiting an Assistant Design Engineer (Civil/Structural) to join a growing infrastructure and engineering contractor delivering major UK energy and infrastructure schemes. This opportunity sits within a multidisciplinary civils design team delivering projects across the energy and infrastructure sector, supported by a strong secured pipeline of work. Supporting the preparation of civil engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation Assisting with multidisciplinary project delivery across infrastructure and energy schemes Supporting design coordination, technical reviews and BIM processes Producing engineering documentation in line with project and quality requirements Assisting with site visits, surveys and project meetings where required Working alongside senior engineers to develop technical knowledge and project experience A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 1 year of hands on civil engineering design experience Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar
