Operations Analyst - Planning and Forecasting

Operational Analyst – Production Planning & Forecasting Alexander Steele Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit an Operational Analyst – Production Planning & Forecasting. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional to play a key role in production planning, forecasting and operational performance within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Working closely with production, supply chain, logistics and commercial teams, you'll use data and demand trends to support efficient production planning and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities * Produce accurate production forecasts using sales trends and historical data. * Develop and maintain production planning models to optimise output, stock and raw materials. * Work collaboratively across production, supply chain and commercial functions to align plans with customer demand. * Monitor seasonal trends and promotions to minimise waste and maximise efficiency. * Deliver reporting and insights to support operational decision-making and identify process improvements. About You You'll ideally have: * Experience in production planning, forecasting or supply chain analysis within food manufacturing or FMCG. * Strong Excel and data analysis skills. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. * A proactive, commercially aware approach with the ability to work across multiple teams. * Experience within food or meat manufacturing would be advantageous.
