Management Accountant - Financial Services (Fully Remote)

Our client, a global leader in the FMCG sector, is seeking a part-qualified Management Accountant to join their team, based in North Yorkshire. If you are high energy and keen to develop within a global organisation, then this could be the perfect career move. Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts. Month end overhead analysis and preparation of accruals and prepayments. Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Involvement with on-line banking and payments. Prepare and check information on a monthly basis for inclusion in the VAT returns and for submitting Intrastat returns. Assist in preparation of information for tax computations. Ensure compliance with the control environment / Internal Audit requirements. Assist in ad hoc projects and administrative duties for the Finance team High level of computer literacy - good excel skills and experience of accounting packages, ERP system experience is preferable, but not necessary. More than 2 years’ experience in a relevant finance role. FMCG experience is preferable, but not necessary. 5% discretionary bonus (based on company performance) ~25 days holiday + bank holidays ~3.5% employer pension contribution ~ Significant opportunity to develop and progress within the Company
