About the role
Female carers who drive with driver's licence, right to work needed. We do not offer COS. They must live in the above mentioned area.
Job Purpose:
To provide high-quality domiciliary care and support to clients within their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. The role involves assisting clients with daily activities, personal care, and facilitating their participation in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Personal Care:
* Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Support clients with mobility, using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure safety.
2. Domestic Support:
* Perform household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
* Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
* Manage shopping needs, either independently or accompanying clients, to ensure adequate supplies.
3. Companionship and Social Support:
* Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
* Encourage and support clients to participate in social and recreational activities, both within the home and in the community.
* Accompany clients to appointments, social events, or on outings, as required.
4. Health Monitoring:
* Observe and report any changes in clients' health, behaviour, or needs to the appropriate personnel.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, incidents, and observations.
* Assist in the development and review of personalised care plans, ensuring they reflect current needs and preferences.
5. Compliance and Professionalism:
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to health and safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding.
* Participate in mandatory training sessions and continuous professional development opportunities.
* Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times, representing the company positively
