Job Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Analyst Relations (AR) Manager to lead its EMEA AR program. Develop and execute an AR program for AWS's EMEA business to increase regional analyst awareness and positive perception of AWS's broad portfolio of services. Proactively manage AWS's presence and performance in regional analyst evaluations and research, analyst recommendations, and communications. Drive utilization of AR assets (research reports, evaluations, etc.) in AWS's marketing and sales channels. Deliver on‑going AR program activities such as analyst briefings, events, inquiries, reporting and other core program tactics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape regional business strategy by delivering actionable insights, data, information, and competitive analysis to marketing & sales leaders in EMEA.
  • Prioritize and manage incoming requests for information, research review, customer references, event speakers, and research.
  • Write presentations and prepare AWS Executives for engaging with analysts.
  • Drive alignment with sales and marketing teams to maximize awareness of customer requirements, existing market evidence, and AR program impact.

A Day in the Life

The EMEA AR lead will develop and execute an AR program that accelerates the education of IT industry analysts in EMEA, effectively communicate key AWS differentiators in our broad services portfolio, and drive third‑party analyst insight back into the business to inform senior leadership and impact GTM strategy in region. You will need a good balance of soft skills, in particular the ability to forge relationships with senior executive business owners, combined with a strong understanding of the hyperscaler landscape. The ability to stay across fast‑paced product innovation and translate complex technical concepts into a compelling analyst narrative is core to the role.

About the Team

The AWS Analyst Relations team aligns to AWS marketing's key objective of making AWS stand for AI leadership. We do this by engaging and educating IT industry analysts to provide actionable insights, influential assets and direct customer counsel to help organizations choose, use and grow with AWS, and to hire and develop the best AR practitioners in the business. This role reports into the Global Field Analyst Relations team which is responsible for transforming analyst insights, analyst sentiment/share‑of‑voice, and positive presence in regional research/reports into competitive advantage for our regional marketing and sales teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate possesses significant Analyst Relations experience and a track‑record of demonstrating successful AR program management and delivery. This includes the ability to quickly understand technically deep topics and translate them into actionable insights, successfully deliver on numerous collaborative projects, and manage day‑to‑day operations related to program activities in a global and highly matrixed organization. In this role, the candidate will have a direct opportunity to innovate AWS regional AR programs and measurement of results via new approaches. They must be comfortable with balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently, sorting through ambiguously defined problems, multiple internal and external stakeholders, and identifying market segment challenges and opportunities for our customers. This person will be a team player and will be resourceful in building relationships across the larger AR and AWS organization across a multitude of time zones and languages.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience as a market research analyst, product manager, or equivalent.
  • Experience working cross‑team and synthesizing feedback and input from marketing and product management.
  • Experience in the tech industry or equivalent.
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in technology‑related sales, marketing or business development.
  • Experience in product marketing, program management, or business development.
  • Preferred: Experience working with or having knowledge of cloud computing and existing cloud technologies.
  • Preferred: Experience previously in program or project management.
  • Preferred: Experience with strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Preferred: Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders.

Location

This position is full‑time, and will be located in an Amazon/AWS corporate office based in the following location: UK (London).
