Sewing Machinist

Location: Dudley Salary: £13.50 per hour (depending on experience) Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time About the Role Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-end upholstered furniture, producing quality craftsmanship in a professional workshop environment. This role focuses on premium furniture, including recliner chairs and other detailed upholstery work. It is not high-volume production or transport seating—attention to detail and a high standard of finish are essential. Working Hours * Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm Key Responsibilities * Upholstering high-quality furniture, including recliner chairs. * Working with a variety of fabrics, foams, and upholstery materials. * Producing detailed, high-quality work to exact specifications. * Inspecting finished products to ensure exceptional standards. * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Requirements * 10+ years' upholstery experience. * Proven background in high-quality furniture upholstery. * Experience with detailed, precision upholstery work. * Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
