Production Operative

We are currently working with a steel stockholder company within Sheffield. Due to expansion and growing opportunity our client now needs to recruit a strong manufacturing production operative. Our client manufacturers steel for other local engineering companies and also for the end user, predominately within aerospace. The working week requires a successful individual to work Monday – Friday 08.00am – 4.00pm. Duties will include – Circular saw chopping and band saw chopping, there will be some overhead crane driving, but full training will be given. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience from another steel stockholder or manufacturer. Our client is keen to recruit someone with some transferable skills, along with offering full training. A positive can-do attitude and an eagerness to succeed, learn and develop. FLT License would be an advantage although not essential as full license’s will be trained and awarded. Package consists of 25 days holiday + statutory bank holidays
