Electrical Shift Technician (Permanent)

We're looking for an Electrical Technician to join our Area 4 M&R team based in Area 4. Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week, days and nights, rota agreed locally Join our team as an Electrical Technician and play a vital role in maintaining and improving streetlighting assets across the region. You'll be part of a supportive team environment where your expertise will make a real difference to the communities we serve. As an Electrical Technician, you'll be working within the Electrical team, supporting them in delivering routine preventative and reactive maintenance on streetlighting assets. Carrying out maintenance and construction works on streetlighting equipment in accordance with contract requirements Ensuring all work is completed safely, following risk assessments, method statements and quality plans Recording and documenting work accurately to support performance monitoring This role of Electrical Technician is great for you if: You hold an ECS Card and Full driving licence You have experience in streetlighting operations and electrical systems maintenance You're skilled at managing projects within tight time and budget constraints You have strong problem-solving abilities and a good understanding of risk management Diversity and inclusion Our employees are key in shaping Kier's diversity and inclusion initiatives and our people have made a huge impact on how we work, by using their experiences to shape our policies.
