A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Newham is looking for a passionate Sociology Teacher to join their successful Humanities and Social Sciences team on a permanent basis.

What you'll be doing
- Teaching Sociology across Key Stages 4 and 5
- Delivering engaging lessons that bring sociological theories and concepts to life
- Supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes
- Creating a classroom environment where discussion, debate, and independent thinking thrive
- Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Playing an active role in the wider school community
What we're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Sociology at GCSE and/or A-Level
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for the discipline
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to raising achievement and supporting every learner to succeed
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
