Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer Cambridge & Oxford - Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm Up to £48,000 + Paid Travel + Overtime + Excellent Benefits Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied mobile role with a great salary, plenty of overtime, and the opportunity to work across a portfolio of modern commercial buildings? We're recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team, covering a portfolio of commercial office buildings and laboratory facilities across Cambridge and Oxford. The majority of your time will be spent in Cambridge, with approximately one day per week covering sites in Oxford, making this role ideal for someone based in or around Cambridge. The Role As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and fault finding across a portfolio of well-maintained commercial properties. Working both independently and alongside a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring building services are maintained to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical building services. Diagnose faults and complete repairs across commercial office and laboratory environments. Support the maintenance of HVAC, lighting, power and associated building systems. Ensure all statutory compliance and health & safety procedures are followed. Build strong relationships with clients and provide a high level of customer service. Work independently across multiple sites while managing your own workload effectively. What We're Looking For Qualified Electrical Engineer (18th Edition and relevant electrical qualification level 3). Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management. Comfortable carrying out basic mechanical maintenance alongside electrical duties. Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (all business mileage and travel expenses are fully reimbursed). Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team. Salary & Benefits Up to £48,000 per annum. Paid mileage and business travel expenses.
