Job Title: Mobile & Workshop Plant Fitter Location: Workshop and Mobile across the South West Job Type: Permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Overtime available Overview: Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Mobile and Depot based Plant Fitter to join an established Construction Plant business. The position is primarily based at the Exeter depot, although the successful candidate will be required to work from other nearby depots and other site locations as required. The role will involve a combination of mobile and workshop-based duties, including the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of construction and earthmoving machinery. What’s on Offer? * Enhanced annual leave, increasing with length of service * Workplace pension scheme * Wellbeing support * Refer-a-friend scheme * Discounted retail and gift card scheme * Paid volunteering days to support charities and community initiatives * Paid leave for eligible Government supported volunteering roles (e.g. Reservists) Responsibilities: * Conduct routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostic checks on plant machinery and equipment * Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues effectively and efficiently * To work alongside staff members on larger repair and maintenance tasks * Conduct fluid monitoring, replenishment and regular lubricant as well as fault reporting. * Perform servicing in line with manufacturers' specifications and standards What do I need? * Strong background in plant or construction equipment maintenance. * Strong organisational, time keeping and communication skills * NVQ level 2 or 3 in plant mechanics or similar would be beneficial * Keen attention to detail and a solution-focused approach to tasks. * Ability to work well within a team as well as being able to work independently * Full UK Driving Licence
