Machine Operator - Yard

Overview We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our reinforcement team - yard work. Full time, ongoing work! The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery involved in fabrication and assembly processes. Please note this role is not working within warehouse or inside environment, this is fully working outside in ALL weather conditions. Monday-Friday 06:30am- 16:30pm £12.71 per hour. Responsibilities * Operate a range of fabrication and machining equipment, including press bake machines. * Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on machinery to minimise downtime * Handle materials safely and efficiently within the production area * Use hand tools and tooling to assemble components according to specifications * Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks * Assist with tasks when required, ensuring safety standards are maintained * Maintain a clean, organised work environment adhering to health and safety regulations Qualifications * Experience in working as a machine operator. * Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and tooling. * Skills in materials handling, assembly, machine operating, and utilisation of various tools. * Strong understanding of safety procedures related to machinery operation and materials handling * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment If you feel like this role is this right role for you then please click the link to apply today or give us a call on (phone number removed)
