Van Driver / Technician – Medical Equipment Location: Birmingham Salary: £13.00 per hour + overtime + on-call allowance Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm Are you practical, reliable, and looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established national medical equipment provider who are looking for Van Driver / Technicians to join their team in Wallasey. About the Role: This is more than just a driving job – you’ll be a vital part of a service that helps people live more independently at home. You’ll be responsible for: * Delivering and collecting medical equipment from service users' homes. * Installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of medical equipment (full training provided). * Carrying out basic mechanical or DIY tasks – ideal for candidates with a hands-on background. * Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally at all times. Key Details: * £13.00 per hour * Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm * Paid overtime available as required * On-call rota: 1 week in every 8 * Weekday evenings until 11pm * Weekends from 8am – 11pm * £100 on-call bonus + time and a half for any call-outs * Company van provided (take-home van after training) * Full training provided on all equipment What We’re Looking For: * Full UK driving licence (essential) * Hands-on experience with DIY, mechanical, or technical tasks * A caring, respectful, and reliable approach to customer service * Good communication and time management skills * Willingness to participate in the on-call rota This is a fantastic opportunity to join a trusted and supportive company offering stable work, full training, and the chance to truly help people in your local community
