An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded Top 100 law firm with a strong reputation across the South of England.This well-established and growing practice is recognised for providing commercially focused advice to a diverse client base, including businesses, senior executives and high-net-worth individuals. The Employment team is known for delivering practical, strategic solutions across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters while maintaining a genuinely supportive and collaborative culture. The Role You will join a busy and highly respected Employment team, managing your own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on more complex matters.Typical work will include:

  • Employment Tribunal claims
  • Settlement agreements
  • Disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Employment contracts and policies
  • Redundancy and restructuring projects
  • TUPE advice
  • Discrimination and whistleblowing claims
  • Restrictive covenant disputes
  • Day-to-day HR and employment law advisory work

Key Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment mattersAdvising both employer and employee clientsDrafting and reviewing employment documentationSupporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value instructionsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsDelivering commercially focused and practical legal adviceAssisting with business development and networking initiativesContributing to the continued growth and success of the team

About You

Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2-5 years' PQEExperience across a broad range of employment law mattersStrong technical knowledge and commercial awarenessExcellent drafting, communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage a busy caseload effectivelyProactive and client-focused approachInterest in business development and relationship managementStrong team-working and interpersonal skills
