Adult Social Worker – Triage Team Location: Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, London Borough of Bexley Pay: £43.63 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Locum (36 hours per week) Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | Hybrid Working Available Start Date: ASAP SW Locums, one of the UK's leading social work recruitment agencies, is recruiting an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Adult Social Care Triage Team at the London Borough of Bexley. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the front door of Adult Social Care within a fast-paced, integrated health and social care team. You'll play a key role in delivering timely interventions and supporting vulnerable adults when they need it most. Key Responsibilities: * Complete Care Act and Mental Capacity Assessments. * Manage telephone triage, duty responsibilities, and urgent referrals. * Undertake safeguarding enquiries and dynamic risk assessments. * Respond effectively to crisis situations. * Work collaboratively with Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Physiotherapists, and Social Care Assistants to achieve positive outcomes. Requirements: * Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration. * Adult Social Care experience is essential. * ASYE completed is desirable. * Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding legislation. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a busy, multidisciplinary team.
