Unique opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to join a prestigious training facility in Chatham, Kent.
£36K rising to £38K after probation period + excellent benefits, training and career prospects. 37 hours per week (Monday
Friday), permanent. Benefits include: Six weeks paid holiday (plus bank holidays) Generous contributory pension Funding for continuous professional development and personal growth Mental Health and Wellbeing support Private healthcare Cycle to work scheme On-site gym The Maintenance Mechanical Fitter will work on inspection, testing and repair of mechanical machinery and equipment used within the technical trade training workshops, offices and classrooms covered by MKC Training estates (including Brompton, Wainscott and Maidstone). The Maintenance Mechanical Fitter will be hold relevant qualifications such as an Apprenticeship or training with C&G, NVQ or equivalent, and will work on a variety of equipment requiring the following skills: Machine turning Milling Bench fitting Welding and brazing Sheet metal work Petrol and diesel engines/generators Pumps and hydraulics Servicing of small and large machines. Able to read and interpret engineering diagrams and charts. Ability to work at height Full UK driving license is required.
