Role Description
We have multiple full time roles based around the Bristol, Reading, London, Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. The role involves performing installations, maintenance, repair, and fault finding tasks on a variety of vehicles. The successful candidate will install and maintain telematics systems, engage in diagnostic service work, and ensure vehicle systems are operating securely and efficiently. You will work directly with cutting edge fleet technology and safety systems while supporting high standards of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience installing aftermarket vehicle safety equipment
- Skills in fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- A valid UK driving license
- Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
- Competent using a laptop for software setup and configuration
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Willingness to travel within your region
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £38,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- OTE up to £45,000
- Time and a half after 45 hours (including travel time from leaving home to returning)
- 30 days holiday including bank holidays, plus an extra day per year of service (up to 8 additional days)
- Company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone & expense card
- Full AJT uniform provided
Professional Development:
As an AJT engineer, you must be able to complete the relevant IMI accreditation. xwzovoh AJT Installs are a proud member of The Association of Vehicle Installers (The AVI) and support engineers in maintaining the highest industry standards.
Working Hours:
45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Optional weekend overtime available
