Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Suffolk The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading specialist contractor delivering works on one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a complex, long-term project where you'll play a key role in commercial management, supporting the successful delivery of major civil engineering and geotechnical works. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial performance of allocated work packages. Administer NEC contracts, including Early Warnings and Compensation Events. Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial reporting. Manage subcontractor procurement, accounts and commercial performance. Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities. Work closely with operational teams to support successful project delivery. Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team. About You We're looking for candidates with: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor. Strong commercial experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Good understanding of NEC contracts. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred). Experience within ground engineering, piling or heavy civils would be advantageous.
