Pensions administration is evolving from a back‑office function into a strategic driver of scheme success and improved member outcomes, despite increasing industry pressures. PwC's Data, Benefits and Operations (DBO) team supports trustee and corporate clients by providing outsourced pensions data and benefit services, helping schemes prepare for risk settlement or ongoing management.
About The Role
Pensions administration is evolving from a back‑office function into a strategic driver of scheme success and improved member outcomes, despite increasing industry pressures. PwC's Data, Benefits and Operations (DBO) team supports trustee and corporate clients by providing outsourced pensions data and benefit services, helping schemes prepare for risk settlement or ongoing management. As part of PwC's wider pensions network, the team delivers specialist expertise across data reviews, cleansing, GMP rectification and equalisation, benefit projects, AI-enabled solutions, operational change, governance and risk management. Senior Managers lead complex engagements, manage client relationships, oversee delivery teams, and support business growth and quality
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Significant pensions knowledge and experience in large-scale projects
- Advanced Excel modelling; familiarity with additional analytical tools/software advantageous.
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills, with strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation and report writing skills.
- Proven business development capability, with a network of contacts and success in delivering proposals and pitches.
- High standards of technical accuracy, governance, and delivery under pressure.
The Skills And Experience We're Looking For
- Pensions consultant with substantial data and benefits experience at a leading consultancy.
- PMI or Actuarial Qualification (or an international equivalent), with significant pensions knowledge and experience in large-scale projects
- Advanced Excel modelling; familiarity with additional analytical tools/software advantageous.
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills, with strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation and report writing skills.
- Proven business development capability, with a network of contacts and success in delivering proposals and pitches.
- High standards of technical accuracy, governance, and delivery under pressure.
