Paralegal - Litigation

Our client, a very reputable firm are looking to appoint a Litigation Paralegal for their growing business based in Chester. You will gain exposure to high quality litigation & dispute resolution work, supporting fee earners across a range of complex and engaging matters. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: A minimum of 12 months’ experience in Dispute Resolution Experience & Knowledge of Litigation Experience working as a Paralegal within the legal sector Knowledge of MS Office & Internal Systems Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal Strong organisational skills High attention to detail Within this position, you’ll also be: Supporting fee earners with supervised fee earning tasks Preparing court documents and bundles Handling of new client enquiries Attending meetings, mediations & court hearings to take detailed notes & upload these to internal system Acting as a point of contact in absence of fee earners, managing calls & escalating any urgent matters Providing routine client updates & drafting follow up correspondence Sending standard & non standard letters, managing enclosures & ensuring all outgoing correspondence meets standards Salary & Working Hours Salary is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience Working Hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hours’ lunch Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.  Talk Staff Recruitment act as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.  See our website for more details and jobs available - (phone number removed)
