Registered Manager | Children's Residential Care Home | Shropshire | Up to £70,000 Monday - Friday | 6 Weeks Annual Leave (Inclusive of Bank Holidays) | Free Parking Safer Hand Solutions are proud to be partnering with a well-established Children's Residential Care Home in Shropshire to recruit an experienced Registered Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a warm, welcoming, and child-centred service supporting children and young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Sensory Impairments. The home has a committed staff team and a clear vision for the future, and is seeking an exceptional leader to drive quality, occupancy, and outcomes for the children in its care. We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record in Ofsted-regulated services. This role is ideal for someone who leads with both their head and heart; a manager who can inspire teams, drive improvements, and create an environment where children can flourish. The Opportunity This is a turnaround leadership role within an established service, offering the chance to make a genuine and lasting impact. You will be responsible for providing strong leadership, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are achieved. Key Responsibilities Provide effective leadership and overall management of the home. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards. Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated care team. Drive service improvements and promote a positive culture. Maintain excellent safeguarding and care practices. Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies. Deliver positive outcomes for children and young people with complex needs. About You Registered Manager experience within a Children's Residential Care setting. Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection requirements. Proven experience of improving service performance and quality standards. Experience supporting children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and complex needs. Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills. Passionate about making a difference and achieving the best outcomes for children. What's on Offer?
