Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to an 84-year-old gentleman in his own home in Newbury.
The individual has Lewy Body Dementia and kidney failure, and requires consistent, person-centred support to maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life.
This is a Monday to Sunday rota-based position, with shifts provided in advance.

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in someones daily life while developing your skills within complex care.
Responsibilities Deliver personalised care in line with the individuals care plan Support with all aspects of personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility Provide safe moving and handling support, including use of hoists where required Assist with medication administration in accordance with training and care plans Monitor and report changes in the individuals physical or emotional wellbeing Provide companionship and emotional reassurance, particularly in relation to dementia-related confusion or distress Support with nutrition, hydration, and daily routines Assist with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Support attendance at appointments or activities when required Maintain accurate daily records and documentation Experience & Requirements At least 6 months UK care experience required Experience supporting individuals with dementia is highly desirable Experience in complex care or high-needs support is advantageous Strong understanding of dignity, xwzovoh privacy, and person-centred care Good communication and observational skills Ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive in challenging situations Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.
