Site Engineer

Site Engineer – Main Contractor East of England We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading contractor delivering works on a Site in Suffolk. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site delivery, managing engineering activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements. Experience working on complex refurbishment, infrastructure, public sector, or secure environment projects would be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities: * Managing and overseeing day-to-day engineering activities on site * Setting out and ensuring works are delivered to specification * Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme milestones are achieved * Supporting site management with technical and engineering queries * Reviewing drawings, specifications, and identifying buildability issues * Maintaining QA documentation and site records * Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times * Liaising with project managers, commercial teams, and stakeholders * Assisting with progress reporting and site coordination Requirements: * Previous experience working as a Site Engineer * CSCS required * SMSTS * First Aid What’s on Offer: * Up to £360 per day * Potential for temporary to extend project * Immediate start available * Opportunity to work with an established and growing contractor No lodgings available and kit provided by client
