Day-to-Day Assisting in the delivery of sustainability assessment frameworks, including BREEAM, WELL, NABERS, and Ska. Preparing planning and sustainability strategies. Contributing to whole-life carbon assessments, energy strategies, and environmental analysis. Gathering and reviewing project evidence for sustainability certifications. Preparing clear and accurate reports for internal teams and clients. Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Supporting senior consultants with project delivery and technical analysis. Staying informed on sustainability legislation, industry standards, and emerging technologies. Responsibilities Supporting the delivery of sustainability assessments and certification schemes such as BREEAM, WELL, NABERS, and Ska. Assisting in the preparation of sustainability reports, presentations, and technical documentation. Contributing to energy, carbon, and environmental assessments under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate sustainability into building design. Attending client and project meetings to gain exposure to consultancy and project delivery processes. Conducting research on industry regulations, sustainability trends, and best practices. Supporting the development of Net Zero Carbon and sustainability strategies across various projects. Qualifications A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Building Services Engineering, Architecture, Geography, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. A strong interest in sustainability and the built environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.Desirable Experience: Placement year, internship, or work experience within sustainability, engineering, environmental consultancy, or the construction sector. Knowledge of sustainability assessment methods such as BREEAM, WELL, or LEED. Understanding of Net Zero Carbon, energy efficiency, or whole-life carbon principles. Familiarity with building performance, environmental modelling, or energy assessment tools. Interested?
