Tenant Business Adviser 📍 Sunderland, Multi-site role 💰 £35,800 FTE Pro rata for, Part-time 22.5 hours 🕒 Flexible working pattern The Opportunity We’re recruiting for a Tenant Business Adviser to support a range of SMEs, start-ups and growing businesses across multiple business centres in Sunderland. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where you’ll provide hands-on business support, build strong tenant relationships, and help drive business growth, engagement and retention across the centres. Ideal for someone with experience in business support, enterprise coaching or SME advisory roles, who enjoys working directly with clients and delivering practical support. Key Responsibilities * Deliver 1:1 business support and advisory sessions to SMEs and start-ups * Build strong relationships with tenant businesses across multiple sites * Develop action-focused growth plans tailored to business needs * Deliver and support workshops, events and business programmes * Signpost businesses to funding, support schemes and external partners * Drive tenant engagement, retention and satisfaction * Maintain accurate CRM records and support KPI reporting * Act as a visible, proactive presence across all centres Requirements Essential: * Experience in business support, enterprise coaching or SME advisory * Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills * Experience delivering 1:1 advice, mentoring or coaching * Experience delivering or supporting workshops/events * Good understanding of business growth (funding, operations, sales, strategy) * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities Desirable: * Knowledge of the North East business support landscape * Experience in managed workspaces / business centres / incubators * Background supporting sectors such as tech, digital or manufacturing What’s on Offer * £35,800 FTE (pro rata) * Flexible part-time hours (22.5 per week) * Free parking * Pension & healthcare * Cycle to work scheme * Supportive, collaborative working environment * Opportunity to make a real impact on local businesses Apply Now If you have a background in business support, enterprise advice or SME development and are looking for a flexible, rewarding role, apply today
