About the role
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Logistics Manager to oversee the efficient movement of products into and out of our business. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring stock is delivered accurately and on time, and leading a high-performing logistics team.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience working with CRM and ERP systems, and a proven ability to optimise logistics processes while maintaining excellent service levels.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end movement of goods, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
Lead, motivate, and develop the logistics team, creating a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
Plan and monitor inventory movements to ensure stock accuracy and minimise delays.
Utilise CRM and ERP systems to manage orders, inventory, customer information, and operational reporting.
Monitor logistics KPIs including delivery performance, transport costs, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.
Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, transport legislation, and company policies.
Resolve logistics issues quickly while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to support business objectives.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Manager, or Distribution Manager role.
Strong experience managing and developing logistics or warehouse teams.
Excellent knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Hands-on experience using CRM and ERP systems (such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, Sage, Odoo, or similar).
Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience managing third-party logistics providers and transport partners.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and produce reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience within manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, or e-commerce environments.
Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma experience
