Job Title: Plumber – Reactive Maintenance Location: London (Covering Greater London) Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 per annum (depending on experience) Benefits: Company Van, Fuel Card, Overtime Available, Uniform & PPE Provided Plumber – Reactive Maintenance We are currently seeking an experienced Plumber to join our reactive maintenance team covering properties across London. This is a mobile role carrying out day-to-day plumbing repairs and maintenance within residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, reliable, and capable of diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues efficiently while delivering a high standard of workmanship. Key Responsibilities * Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance works. * Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and faulty pipework. * Repair and replace taps, toilets, sinks, showers, and sanitary ware. * Carry out minor pipework installations and alterations. * Identify faults and provide effective repair solutions. * Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards. * Communicate professionally with tenants, residents, and clients. * Complete job reports and updates using a mobile device. * Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment. Requirements * Proven experience as a Plumber within reactive maintenance, property maintenance, or repairs. * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Experience working in occupied residential properties. * Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. * Good customer service and communication skills. * Full UK Driving Licence (essential). * Right to work in the UK. Desirable * NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent). * Experience working within social housing, housing associations, local authority, or facilities management contracts. * Basic knowledge of other trades such as carpentry, tiling, or patch plastering.
