Driver (HGV2)

The driver will be responsible for collecting, loading, and unloading textile items manually. Strong multitasking abilities and effective time management skills are essential for success in this role.

* Maintain high service delivery standards in line with company policy to support contract retention. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner when interacting with shop managers, staff, and waste site employees.
* Maintain courteous, diplomatic, and cooperative working relationships with colleagues, partners, and suppliers at all times.
* Complete daily collections within designated timeframes, with flexibility to work beyond standard hours when required to meet customer commitments. Ensure all loads are securely and safely stowed.
* Provide accurate reports of completed activities and promptly communicate any issues to the line manager. Maintain up-to-date logbooks and issue collection/delivery receipts as required.
* Essential Skills
* Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling.
* Strong team player skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
* Clean valid UK Drivers Licence. xwzovoh
* HGV Class 2 classification.
* 2 years experience of driving HGV
* Proof of right to work in UK.
* Required to have a good standard of spoken and written English language for health and safety purposes
