Class 1 Driver

Class 1 (C+E) Driver – £18.00 per hour Our client is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join their transport team on a full-time basis. This role involves operating refrigerated trailers on a variety of routes across the UK. There may also be occasional loading and unloading duties at delivery locations. Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour Key Responsibilities: Operating Class 1 vehicles with refrigerated trailers Completing deliveries and collections across the UK Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or maintenance issues Completing delivery paperwork and driver records accurately Ensuring compliance with road transport regulations and company procedures Liaising with transport and warehouse teams regarding delivery schedules and any delays Assisting with loading and unloading when required Requirements: Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience (required for insurance purposes) Refrigerated trailer experience is desirable but not essential Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety requirements Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and work well under pressure Benefits: £18.00 per hour Company pension Free on-site parking Staff canteen Full-time position If you're an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.
